About to SDAD 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Social Development and Art Design (SDAD 2026) will be held in Xiamen, China. The conference explores the relationship between social development, cultural expression, artistic practice, and design innovation. It provides a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, designers, artists, social scientists, educators, and graduate students to exchange research and creative practices. Topics include social development, cultural development, community design, art design, visual communication, public art, cultural creativity, design innovation, social design, sustainable design, cultural industries, creative economy, urban culture, design for communities, and social participation. Participants will discuss how art and design can respond to social needs and contribute to cultural development and community improvement. Xiamen, with its distinctive coastal environment, cultural diversity, and active creative industries, provides an appropriate setting for discussions connecting social development with art and design. Researchers and professionals in social sciences, art, design, cultural studies, and related fields are welcome.
Record
All full paper submissions to the SDAD 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of SDAD 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Contributors are encouraged to submit papers / abstracts to the conference. The organizing committee will select high-quality papers and recommend them to SCI/SSCI journals. For specific matters, please contact the person in charge of the conferrence.
Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to sdad@metting-cloud.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
