Materials science, mechanics and structural engineering are important research directions in modern engineering technology and advanced manufacturing. These three fields are closely linked in aspects such as material performance optimization, structural design, safety assessment and engineering application. With the continuous development of new material research, computational mechanics, intelligent manufacturing and engineering structure analysis technologies, related research is advancing towards higher performance, refinement and intelligence. The International Conference on Materials Science, Mechanics and Structural Engineering 2027 (SMSE 2027) aims to establish an international academic exchange and research cooperation platform, gathering experts, researchers and engineering technicians from materials science, solid mechanics, structural engineering and related fields, to jointly share the latest research results and technological progress. The conference will focus on research directions such as advanced material design and preparation, material mechanical properties, structural dynamics, computational mechanics, engineering structure analysis, composite material application and structural safety assessment. It will also cover topics such as material fatigue and fracture, finite element analysis, intelligent structure monitoring, seismic design and engineering optimization. Through academic reports, paper exchanges and special discussions, it promotes collaborative innovation between material research and mechanics theory, structural engineering practice. Qingdao is a city with distinct marine characteristics and a modern industrial foundation. It has favorable development conditions in marine engineering, advanced manufacturing, material research and engineering technological innovation. The conference will be held in Qingdao, China, and invites experts and professionals from universities, research institutions and related industries to participate, jointly exploring the cutting-edge progress and application prospects in the fields of materials science, mechanics and structural engineering.

All full paper submissions to the SMSE 2027 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of SMSE 2027 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to msse@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
