About to PDHG 2027
With the continuous advancement of urbanization, urban spatial planning, urban design and human geography research play a crucial role in optimizing urban structures, enhancing residents' quality of life, and promoting regional coordinated development. The International Conference on Urban Planning, Design and Human Geography (PDHG 2027) will be held in Wuhan, China in 2027. Wuhan, as an important city in central China and a comprehensive transportation hub, has rich practical experience in urban construction, spatial planning, regional development and human environment research, providing a favorable platform for academic exchanges and technological innovation in related fields. This conference focuses on urban planning, urban design, human geography and related interdisciplinary fields, and conducts exchanges around urban spatial layout, rural-urban development, regional planning, urban renewal and human environment evolution. The conference aims to promote integrated research among geography, urban planning, architectural design and social sciences, promote theoretical exploration and the combination of theoretical research and urban construction practice, provide opportunities for the display of achievements and cooperation and exchange for university teachers, researchers, planning designers and young scholars, and jointly explore new concepts and methods for urban development and spatial optimization in the new era.

All full paper submissions to the PDHG 2027 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of PDHG 2027 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to gurp@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
