About to GBUP 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Green Buildings and Urban Planning (GBUP 2026) is a global forum dedicated to sustainable architectural design, green technologies, and urban planning strategies. This conference will attract architects, urban planners, engineers, policymakers, and academics from all over the world to jointly explore how to promote the construction of environmentally friendly cities through innovative design and technologies. The core topics of GBUP 2026 include, but are not limited to: the application of green building materials, energy efficiency improvement plans, the integration of renewable energy in buildings, smart city technologies, and the development models of ecological communities. In addition, the conference will also hold special discussion sessions, workshops and exhibitions, aiming to provide a platform for communication, allowing participants to share successful cases, the latest research results and practical experiences. Through these activities, participants not only have the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the current cutting-edge developments in green buildings and urban planning, but also explore how to promote sustainable development practices globally and contribute to addressing climate change.

All full paper submissions to the GBUP 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of GBUP 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Contributors are encouraged to submit papers / abstracts to the conference. The organizing committee will select high-quality papers and recommend them to SCI/SSCI journals. For specific matters, please contact the person in charge of the conferrence.
Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to gbup@metting-cloud.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
